How Envest collects, uses, and protects your data in compliance with global privacy regulations.
We collect information you provide when creating an account, uploading data, or communicating with us. This includes name, email, institution, and any financial documents or research you choose to upload. We also collect usage data such as interaction logs, feature utilization, and platform performance metrics to improve our service.
Your data is used exclusively to provide, maintain, and improve the Platform. This includes processing research queries, generating insights, and personalizing your experience. We do not use your proprietary research or institutional data for model training without explicit written consent. Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be used for product development.
Envest does not sell your personal information or proprietary data. We may share data with authorized subprocessors who help deliver the Platform (e.g., cloud infrastructure providers), subject to contractual obligations that match this policy. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security audits. Data is stored in SOC 2-compliant facilities. Enterprise clients may request our security documentation and penetration testing reports.
We retain your data for the duration of your enterprise agreement plus a standard 90-day wind-down period, unless otherwise specified in your contract. Upon termination, data is securely deleted within 30 days. You may request data export at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
